The Ultimate 6 Cheese Macaroni and Cheese

A rich and creamy macaroni and cheese dish featuring six different cheeses and crispy turkey bacon for an added twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded gouda cheese
  • 6 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon to the cheese sauce, mixing well.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For an extra crispy topping, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top before baking.
