- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger over medium heat. Stir until heated through.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and vanilla extract. Slowly add warm milk mixture to the eggs while whisking.
- Return the combined mixture to the saucepan and cook until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in bourbon. Chill before serving.
