  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, milk, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour melted butter into a baking dish and then pour the batter over the butter.
  5. Top with the peach mixture, do not stir.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
