Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add molasses, egg, and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just incorporated.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
