Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs

A delicious and easy recipe for Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs made with turkey bacon for a healthier twist.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs of your desired size.
  3. Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the beef broth over the meatballs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. If using cornstarch, mix it with a little cold water to create a slurry and add to the slow cooker in the last 30 minutes of cooking to thicken the sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
  • You can replace turkey bacon with regular bacon if desired.
