- 2 pounds flank steak, sliced thin
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped
- In a slow cooker, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, water, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the sliced flank steak, stirring to coat with the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the chopped green onions.

Notes
- For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
