Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake

  • 12 ounces pasta, penne or fusilli
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and red pepper flakes, cooking until shrimp are pink.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well.
  7. Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish.
  8. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
