Red Lobster’s Cheese Biscuit Loaf

A delicious homemade version of Red Lobster’s famous cheese biscuit loaf.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to biscuit loaf on a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Fold in the cheese and green onions.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and melted butter.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding some grated Parmesan cheese to the dough.
  • Serve warm with additional melted butter brushed on top.
