  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. In another large bowl, beat together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and oil.
  4. Add eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter evenly between prepared cake pans and smooth the tops.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until creamy, then gradually add the powdered sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
