These mouthwatering stuffed mushrooms are the perfect blend of turkey bacon and cheese, creating a delightful appetizer that everyone will love.

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into small pieces.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, black pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and the chopped turkey bacon.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
  • These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
