  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Andes mints, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs, vanilla, and mint extract; mix well.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped Andes mints.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool on wire racks.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, add extra mint extract.
  • You can substitute chocolate chips with white chocolate for a different twist.
