  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the beef chuck roast with garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add beef broth and lime juice, then cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Once cooked, shred the beef using two forks and mix it with the juices.
  4. Serve in bowls, topped with cilantro.
