Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, poppy seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, oil, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
