- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
