  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix granulated sugar, buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread cream cheese over the top, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
