- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Gruyere or Swiss)
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté sliced onions until caramelized.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked orzo, shredded chicken, French onion soup, sautéed onions, garlic powder, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
