  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, then add cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and melted butter; mix until smooth.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles, sautéed onions, and crumbled bacon with the egg mixture; stir well.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown on top.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
