Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the orzo and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and cook until tender.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.

  • This dish can be topped with additional cheese if desired.
