Easy Reindeer Cupcakes

These Easy Reindeer Cupcakes are a delightful festive treat that will bring joy to your family during the holiday season.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
  • 1 tube red icing
  • 12 chocolate covered pretzels (for antlers)
  • 24 candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
  7. While cooling, prepare the frosting by mixing the powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth.
  8. Frost the cooled cupcakes with the frosting.
  9. Decorate each cupcake with red icing to create a nose, and place chocolate pretzels on the sides for antlers.
  10. Add candy eyes to each cupcake to finish.

Notes

  • For easier decorating, you can use store-bought frosting.
