- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
- 1 tube red icing
- 12 chocolate covered pretzels (for antlers)
- 24 candy eyes
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
- While cooling, prepare the frosting by mixing the powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth.
