  • 6 cups cubed stale bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the bread cubes, eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. If using, fold in the raisins.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the crockpot, spreading it evenly.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the center is set and the top is golden.
