  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  2. Add rice, chicken broth, and chopped turkey bacon on top.
  3. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Gently stir to combine ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. 30 minutes before serving, add chopped broccoli.
  7. Once cooked, shred the chicken and stir all ingredients together.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add a splash of cream before serving.
  • Use leftover turkey bacon to reduce prep time.
