Creamy Tuscan Orzo

A rich and creamy dish that combines orzo pasta with the savory flavor of turkey bacon and Tuscan-inspired ingredients.

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  3. Add olive oil and garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add spinach and cherry tomatoes, cooking until spinach wilts.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and add Parmesan, stirring to combine.
  6. Mix in the cooked orzo and crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes
