  • 2 cups green buttercream frosting
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with liners.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  10. Pipe the green buttercream frosting into a tree shape on each cupcake.
  11. Decorate with chocolate chips and edible glitter to resemble ornaments.
