  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually stir into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cookies are set.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
