  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups pitted cherries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a round cake pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  6. Top with pitted cherries.
