Chicken Pillows with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling to form a pillow and seal the edges.
  6. Place the pillows on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter seasoned with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with extra Parmesan sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped herbs to the chicken mixture.
  • Pillows can be frozen before baking for a quick meal later.
