Chicken Cordon Bleu

Experience a delicious twist on classic Chicken Cordon Bleu with turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts to even thickness.
  3. Place a slice of turkey bacon and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast.
  4. Roll up each chicken breast and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
  6. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  7. Remove toothpicks before serving.
