- 12 manicotti pasta shells
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and cool.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix well.
- Stuff each manicotti shell with the chicken mixture.
- Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in the bottom of a baking dish, then place the stuffed manicotti in the dish.
- Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add spinach to the filling.
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days before baking.
