Cheesecake Brownies

These decadent cheesecake brownies combine rich chocolate and creamy cheesecake for a dessert that’s impossible to resist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour and salt, then gradually mix into the chocolate mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter, and then layer the remaining brownie batter on top.
  8. Use a knife to swirl the layers together.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
  • These brownies are best served chilled.
