Caramelized Onion Pasta

  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add the sliced onions and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
