Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared muffin tin.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
